HISTORIC VENUE 1902
CAYLA & AYDEN’s wedding in orlando florida | DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | HISTORIC VENUE 1902 | SANFORD WEDDING VENUE
We travelled from London to Orlando Florida to shoot this lovely wedding at the beautiful Historic Venue 1902! This was our first destination wedding and hopefully one of many. We love travelling and have visited numerous countries in Europe, Africa and USA so it would be an absolute dream to travel and shoot beautiful weddings, what more can you ask for?
As a child we used to travel to Florida frequently to visit family but I hadn’t been back for over 10 years, so to visit again and this time with my husband almost felt like I was showing him my second home.
The Historic Venue 1902 is located in Sanford, Florida. This venue was definitely giving High School Music vibes with the old school brick building. The couple has their ceremony outdoors which was so pretty. They ended the night with a sparkler exit which topped off the celebrations nicely. We’d absolutely love to come back to America soon to shoot another stunning wedding!
It’s always a special experience to see two cultures blend so seamlessly, and this wedding was a perfect example of that. From the candids that capture the essence of the day to the editorial shots that showcase the stunning details, it was all about telling their unique story. Each image we created holds a timeless quality that I hope they’ll cherish for years to come. After all, that’s what it’s all about—capturing those priceless moments that mean the world.
After the wedding we decided to head down to Miami and stay there for a week as we both hadn’t visited before. It definitely lived up to the hype! Our favourite area was Wynwood, the streets and streets of art on the walls were so fun and colourful. It reminded me of an area in London called Shoreditch where you have many creatives, Vinyl shops, thrift stores, tattoo parlours etc .and of course great coffee! We stayed on Miami Beach as we were eager to relax and be by the beach, I am definitely missing the hot sun and cooling sea.
